New Photo Book To commemorate a 37-year working relationship with photographer Shinoyama Kishin, Tamasaburo has released a 2 volume photo book in March 2007. See this for the cover design of this book. Vol.1 will have 404 pages, and Vol.2 will have 440 pages. The price (pre-tax) is 38000 yen. Currently most online Japanese bookstores won't do international shipment. There are several ways to order this book if you live outside Japan. You can order from Amazon Japan. They have a good English interface, and the shipping rate seems to be a flat fee. This might be a good deal as this book is very hefty. If you live in any of the cities listed here (scroll down), you can ask your local Kinokuniya Bookstore to order it for you. The exchange rate will be pretty bad though. Order directly from the Japanese Kinokuniya website. This page has no English interface, and as can be seen from here, the shipping rate is very expensive. Since I expect this book to be well over 5kg, the rate table won't apply. You have to email them for a specific rate per instruction given.
The Marunouchi Building in Tokyo hosted a special event celebrating the publishing of this book on 3/5-11. Selected photos used in the book were on display in the MaruCube (1st floor).
